Instructions for making this Skillet Cookie Recipe Stovetop
This Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie is quite easy to make and really packs a punch when it comes to chocolate flavor!
Melt butter in a cast iron skillet. Remove from heat and pour butter into a large mixing bowl. Add brown sugar and pure vanilla extract and mix well. Stir in the eggs.
Add the all purpose flour, baking soda, salt and mix until combined. Fold in ½ cup of mini chocolate chips.
Spoon batter into skillet and sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips and red and pink Valentine's Day M&Ms candies.
Cook over medium heat for 22-28 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
It is easiest to clean a cast iron skillet when it's still warm! Remove the giant cookie once it has cooled down a bit. Scrub off any stuck-on bits by scrubbing the pan coarse kosher salt and water. Then rinse or wipe it off with a paper towel.

Thanks for sharing this recipe Jen. I live at high altitude ( about 7700 feet) and followed the recipe to the letter. It did take the full 28 minutes to cook ( typical for the altitude) and came out great! Awesome treat to share with friends since this makes a lot!
