Why we love this Skillet Cookie Recipe Stovetop

You can make a mini cast iron skillet cookie for individual cookies, or bake up a whole skillet for the family to show them how much you love them on Valentine's Day.

This M&Ms Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe was inspired by my Sausage Tortellini Skillet recipe that is such a great dinner idea, and this amazing Shepherd's Breakfast Skillet recipe. Cooking with a cast iron skillet is just so much fun and I love not having to use the oven when cooking!

Variations of this Skillet Cookie Recipe

You can make individual mini cast iron skillet cookies using mini cast iron skillets, or this giant cookie as directed in a 8 inch or 10 inch cast iron skillet.

    • Chocolate - add ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder to the batter to make it a chocolate cookie.
    • Deluxe - add sprinkles or jimmies to the top of the batter once it is in the skillet for an extra pop of color!

Thanks for sharing this recipe Jen. I live at high altitude ( about 7700 feet) and followed the recipe to the letter. It did take the full 28 minutes to cook ( typical for the altitude) and came out great! Awesome treat to share with friends since this makes a lot!
