Oh...and bonus? There are no dishes to wash afterwards either! I really despise washing dishes, ever since we realized that our new kitchen faucet wasn't compatible with the connector for our portable dishwasher. BOO!
Easter is such a fun holiday for the kids, what with Easter Egg Hunts, Easter plays at church, dying Easter eggs, getting to take their photo with the Easter bunny at the mall (do they still do that? Angeline is WAY too old for me to know about these things anymore!), and waking up looking for that Easter basket on Sunday morning!

PEEPS Easter Sugar Cookie Bars Recipe Directions
Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Break apart cookie dough and press evenly into pan. Bake for 16-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
Add food coloring to frosting and mix well to color green. Set aside.
Before cutting cookie bars, set a peep or two onto the cookies in the pan.
Use a knife to cut the bars, the peep bars will be a little bigger than the nest bars. You should end up with about 15 bars.
Frost each bar with green frosting.
To create the nest, take 3 strands of edible grass and roll it into a small circle, about the size of a dollar coin. As you release the grass, it should open up a bit to be about the size of the cookie. Place on top.
To make the nest cookies, place three to four eggs into the center of the nest.
Once you alternate, you will have a cute little assortment of Easter Sugar Cookie Bars!
