Why I Love These Honey Lemon Pepper Wings
First of all, anything involving lemon pepper is always going to be good. That's just a scientific fact. When you combine that peppery, citrusy flavor with the sweetness of honey, you get a flavor that blows your tastebuds out of the water.
I love the crispy caramelized exterior these wings get, thanks to the natural sugars in the honey. That sticky, crispy exterior is the hallmark of any good wing if you ask me.
Let's not forget how easy these are to make, either! I love cooking, but I also love hanging out with family and friends. I can whip these wings up in a flash and get back to the party in no time.

Honey Lemon Pepper Wings FAQ
There are a couple of ways to test for doneness. If you cut into the wings and the juices run clear, they're fully cooked. A meat thermometer should register 165 degrees when the wings are fully cooked, as well.
Color is never a reliable measure of doneness when it comes to chicken. Fully cooked chicken can range from white to pink or tan, so if your chicken juices run clear or a meat thermometer registers 165 degrees, a slightly pink color is fine.
The wings should be caramelized by the time they're finished baking. However, if you prefer and even crispier exterior, pop them under the broiler for a minute or two. Watch them carefully so they don't burn!
