Refrigerator: Store for up to 3 days in an air-tight container.
Freezer: Wrap the fish in plastic wrap, then store for up to a month in an air-tight, freezer-safe container or heavy-duty freezer bag.
Reheat: Set the air fryer to reheat and 325 degrees. Then, cook for 6 to 7 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
- Always preheat your air fryer for even cooking and proper cooking times.
- Be sure to coat both sides of the fish in oil to prevent sticking and get a nice color.
- The fish is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
Do you have to defrost fish before cooking it in the air fryer?

Frozen Fish Fillets in Air Fryer
Frozen fish fillets in air fryer are flaky, moist, and cooked perfectly! This easy Air Fryer Frozen Fish dinner is a family favorite!
Coat each side of the fillets with olive oil. Place into the air fryer basket.
Mix together onion powder, salt, garlic powder, thyme and pepper and sprinkle on top of fillets, coating as evenly as possible.
Set the air fryer to 390 degrees for 12 minutes.
When cooking is complete, check for an internal temperature of 145 for the fillets before serving topped with chopped fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
This was a 16 oz package, of 4 fillets, which would be 4oz each. Just so you have an idea on the size/weight and cooking time.
