How to make chicken wings in an air fryer
If we have chosen whole wings, we first have to cut the 6 chicken wings into 3 parts just by the union of the bones, thus obtaining 18 pieces in total. We discard the tips we can reserve for a broth for this preparation.
Make sure to check the pieces to eliminate possible traces of feathers.
Next, we season the chopped wings with 1 teaspoon of fine salt, 1 pinch of ground black pepper, and 1 garlic powder. Mix well to integrate all the spices.
Next, we pour 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over the wings and, with our hands, mix well until all the pieces of the wings are impregnated with the oil.
In this step, we can put them inside a mold or container before placing the chicken wings in air fryer. This is my favorite because it makes the air fryer much less messy. We choose the option that suits us best and introduce the bucket into the air fryer.
We set the air fryer manually at 200℃ for 35 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip them over so the chicken wings cook evenly. When there are 5 minutes left to cook, we turn them over again to ensure they are crispy on both sides.
After cooking, we remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and quickly plate them to enjoy freshly made. You’re going to lick your fingers!
