Today I am going to help you learn How to Make Restaurant Quality Wings at Home.

With only a couple of seasonings and just a little bit of effort, you can create chicken wings that rival even the best Wing Wednesday specials at your local eateries!

One of the cheapest parts of chicken just so happens to be one of the tastiest! Yep, we are talking about chicken wings and drumettes - or flats. Chicken wings are a true delicacy that can be prepared in a so many different of ways, although the most popular is in its fried version!

With an air fryer, we will be able to make the chicken wings crispy on the outside and much lighter than the traditional ones without the need to use large amounts of oil. Of course, this means that there is considerably increases its caloric intake.

To make chicken wings in the air fryer, we will need only a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and the spices or condiments that we like the most.

Our air fryer takes care of the rest! When cooking chicken wings in the air fryer, in addition to cooking faster than the oven, part of the fat will remain in the basket of the pan.

2 Person Air Fryer Chicken Wings Ingredients

    • 6 whole chicken wings (or 12 portions if split)
    • 1 teaspoon of fine salt
    • 1 pinch of ground black pepper
    • 1 pinch of garlic powder
    • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

How to make chicken wings in an air fryer

If we have chosen whole wings, we first have to cut the 6 chicken wings into 3 parts just by the union of the bones, thus obtaining 18 pieces in total. We discard the tips we can reserve for a broth for this preparation.

Make sure to check the pieces to eliminate possible traces of feathers.

Next, we season the chopped wings with 1 teaspoon of fine salt, 1 pinch of ground black pepper, and 1 garlic powder. Mix well to integrate all the spices.

Next, we pour 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over the wings and, with our hands, mix well until all the pieces of the wings are impregnated with the oil.

In this step, we can put them inside a mold or container before placing the chicken wings in air fryer. This is my favorite because it makes the air fryer much less messy. We choose the option that suits us best and introduce the bucket into the air fryer.

We set the air fryer manually at 200℃ for 35 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip them over so the chicken wings cook evenly. When there are 5 minutes left to cook, we turn them over again to ensure they are crispy on both sides.

After cooking, we remove the chicken wings from the air fryer and quickly plate them to enjoy freshly made. You’re going to lick your fingers!
