This delicious Chocolate Cream Layer Cake Recipe is not hard to make at all! It is a little time consuming to put together with all of the layers, but it is delicious and completely and utterly worth it!
I think it would be fair to say that all lasagnas are a bit time consuming to make, but at least you aren't boiling noodles and mixing ricotta for this one!

How to Make this Chocolate Lasagna Dessert Recipe
Ingredients needed to make this Chocolate Lasagna Dessert Recipe:
- 36 Oreo cookies
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 brick, 8 oz, cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons half and half
- 2 small packages, 3.4 oz each, instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3-¼ cup white milk
- 1 container, 12 oz, whipped topping, thawed
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Directions for making this Chocolate Lasagna Dessert Recipe:
The first thing you are going to do is to add cookies to a food processor and process until fine crumbs.
Then you are going to add in your butter and process the mixture for 10 seconds until it is all combined well.
Press this mixture mixture into a 9x13 pan with the back of a spoon. Then refrigerate for a bit so that it can harden.
It will be ready by the time you are done preparing the next part of the recipe.
Now you are going to add together your cream cheese, the half and half and the sugar to a mixing bowl and beat the mixture until it is smooth.
Now you will fold in 1 cup of the whipped topping.
Spoon this mixture over the top of your prepared crust and spread it across the top evenly. Refrigerate to allow it to harden.
Mix together the pudding and the milk and whisk this mixture together for 2 minutes until it is combined well.
Pour this prepared mixture on top of the cream cheese and then refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
Top with your remaining whipped topping and spread it evenly.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and cover and refrigerate 4 hours or until ready to serve.
Slice into 18 squares and serve cold.
