Chocolate Chip Pancakes Recipe
Have you ever sat down and wondered to yourself, "I wonder who invented pancakes?"
Pancakes have literally been around as long as human beings have been eating breakfast - researchers have found pancakes in the stomach of Otzi the Iceman, human remains dating all the way back 5,300 years.
I personally love a good pancake, as well as waffles - but pancakes are one of my go to breakfast foods when I have overnight houseguests or Angeline needs a nice, hearty, filling breakfast. I mean, you really can't go wrong with pancakes as a breakfast food, can you?

Instructions for making this Chocolate Chip Pancakes Recipe
Heat a flat pan over medium heat, and melt the butter on the pan. Just be careful not let the butter burn - we are not using browned butter for this pancakes recipe!
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk all remaining ingredients together until all of the lumps are gone. No one wants a clump of raw flour in their pancakes.
Next, add in your chocolate chips and stir!
Pour the batter into small circles on the prepared pan. If you have a hot plate skillet, or a griddle, you can do them all at once!
Once the batter is bubbly, after about 2-3 minutes, flip your pancakes over very carefully so that they don't break apart!
When the pancake is done, which should take about another 2-3 minutes, gently remove it from the pan and set aside on your prettiest serving platter - or right onto an awaiting plate!
Repeat with the remaining batter until you have a full stack of pancakes!
