A few notes on this Chicken Tater Tot Casserole
I made this in my 10" cast iron skillet but if you don't have one of those, you can spread this into a 9x9 baking dish or a 9x13. The 9x13 baking time will need to be adjusted, probably shortened, just because that bottom layer is spread thinner.
But everything is technically cooked. You do need to defrost/heat the tater tots, though.
For the 10" skillet, I did not use the entire bag of tater tots. I used just over half.
In conclusion, the Chicken Tater Tot Casserole is a game-changer for busy weeknights. With its easy preparation and delicious taste, it’s sure to be a hit with everyone, from young professionals to stay at home moms.
You can customize this dish to suit your taste, and it’s a great way to use up leftover chicken or veggies.
So next time when you’re in catch-22 what to make for dinner, whip up this casserole and enjoy a warm and comforting meal in no time.
