Step-by-Step Instructions for how to make Banana Bread Bread Pudding

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice your banana bread into slices and then cut them into 1" cubes.

Spread the cubes in a single layer on a large baking sheet and bake for 4 minutes. Flip the cubes with a spatula and return to the oven for an additional 4 minutes.

Grease a 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place half of the bread cubes into the pan and top with sliced bananas.

Add the remaining bread cubes on top.

Now in a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, half and half, sugar, and vanilla.

Then gently pour this mixture over the bread cubes. Use the back of a spoon to press the bread into the pan, ensuring it soaks up the egg mixture. Let it stand for 5 minutes.

Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool until warm.

Serve your Banana Bread Bread Pudding warm, topped with powdered sugar if desired.
