What Is Bread Pudding
Unlike what we call pudding in America (the stuff that's more like a custard and made by Jell-O), bread pudding is a bread-based dessert.
It's a dessert that is made in lots of other countries and is a fantastic way to use up stale bread.
The idea is to soak the stale bread in eggs and other ingredients and bake it.
The result is a sweet or savory dish that doesn't taste a bit like stale bread.
Why You'll Love Oreo Bread Pudding
I absolutely love Oreos, they are actually one of the very few store-bought cookies that I enjoy. The other being Pecan Sandies!
There is just something about those crisp, chocolatey wafer cookies that I LOVE!
I typically don't even eat the cream center, I scrape it off with my teeth and throw it away. I just love the wafer part!
Also, did you know that Oreos are a vegan cookie?! Did you know that they are safe for dogs to eat too, because they don't actually have any chocolate in them!?
Yes, I am serious. Look it up if you don't believe me!
Now, I am neither a Vegan, nor a dog, but I do enjoy knowing that basically, ANYONE or ANYTHING can eat them and they're safe!
