Oh, cookies….when I was a kid, there was an Original Cookie Co bakery in our local mall, and I used to press my face against the glass display case and drool over the ginormous skillet cookie….of course, no one ever wanted to buy that huge cookie pie with me, so I settled for individual chocolate chip cookies. OH, THE AGONY! This Valentine’s Day Skillet Cookie Recipe reminds me of those beautiful skillet cookies of my childhood, and it’s just perfect for decorating with pink M&Ms for Valentine’s Day!

Valentine’s Day Cookie Skillet Recipe
Valentine's Day Skillet Cookie Recipe
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup m&m candies
Preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter in a cast iron skillet. Remove from heat and pour butter into a large mixing bowl. Add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Stir in eggs. Add flour, baking soda, salt and mix until combined. Fold in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Spoon batter into skillet and sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons chocolate chips and m&m candies.
Bake for 22-28 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
