Feta Cherry Tomato Pasta
I tried this easy Feta Cherry Tomato Pasta idea when Angeline was pregnant - I believe she Saw it on TikTok or Instagram in 2021, back when it went viral!
This Valentine's Pasta Dish was inspired by my One Pot Pizza Pasta Recipe that I shared a few years ago, and this easy Valentine's Dinner pairs well with these 3 Sparkling Valentines Day Cocktail Recipes.

Instructions for Making Valentine's Day Pasta Recipes for Two
This Feta Cherry Tomato Pasta is going to be the EASIEST Valentine's Day Pasta Recipes for Two that you will ever make!
Preheat oven to 400°. Place your brick of feta cheese in the middle of a 9x13 baking dish and place the tomatoes all around it.
Sprinkle Basil and Black Pepper over the Feta Cheese and Cherry Tomatoes.
Drizzle olive oil over your Cherry Tomatoes and Feta Cheese, but DO NOT MIX IT UP!
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until tomatoes are bursting open and the Feta Cheese is golden brown.
Hint: Set a kitchen timer for about 30 minutes, and when that time goes off, begin making the pasta that you want to serve this Feta Cherry Tomatoes sauce over.
Once the pasta is done, drain it and reserve ¼ cup of the pasta water - you are going to mix this reserved pasta water into the Feta Cherry Tomato sauce to thicken it a bit.
Substitutions and Variations
You can use a wide variety of pastas for this Romantic Valentine's Day Pasta Dinner.
- Bowtie Pasta- Bowtie Pasta makes for a pretty presentation!
- Mini Penne- Mini Penne makes for a nice, hardy pasta dish.
- Farfalle - I mean, who doesn't just love Farfalle?!
If you are following a low carb diet, like Atkins or KETO, you can spiralize zucchini or squash and use that in the place of regular pasta.
Variations of Seasonings to Use
Angeline and I perfected this Easy Cherry Tomato Pasta Dinner while she was pregnant, so I have a few ways to make it "different" if you are feeling that the basic ingredients lack the Italian flavors you love when it comes to pasta!
- Spicy - add a pinch of red chili pepper flakes to add a little heat into the dish.
- Italian Seasoning- I almost always use about ½ teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
- Garlic - add 1-2 gloves of minced garlic to the dish if you can't live without garlic in your pasta - like me!

Equipment
Equipment can have a big impact on how a recipe turns out. You will want to use a 9x13 baking dish to make this easy pasta dinner, as the ingredients need enough room to space out and cook properly.
If you try to use a 8x8 or even 9x9 baking dish, the tomatoes on the bottom of the dish won't burst open like they're supposed to. You can grab a 9x13 baking dish from Amazon here if you don't already have one!
Storage
Store this Valentine's pasta leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. As we all know, pasta dishes always taste better the next day! These will stay good for 2-3 days.
You can try a nice 9x13 Pyrex Covered Casserole Dish - this is what I personally use, because it makes it easier to store it in the fridge or transport for family potluck dinners.
