How to Make Spinach Artichoke Wontons
Start by preheating your oven to 350°F. Then spray a 24-cup mini muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray.
Shape the Wonton Wrappers
Gently press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cavity. I like to use a tart shaper or just my fingers - either works!
Pro Tip: Be careful not to tear the wrappers, and make sure they don’t fold in on themselves. If they collapse a little, don’t worry—you can reshape them after the first bake.
Bake the Wonton Cups
Bake the wonton wrappers for 5 minutes. This ensures they get a head start on that crispy goodness before you load them up with the creamy spinach artichoke dip and cheeses.
Fill the Wonton Cups with Spinach Artichoke Dip
Next, remove the wonton cups from the oven and fill each cup with about 1 teaspoon of spinach artichoke dip.
Then add a pinch of parmesan cheese and roughly ½ tablespoon of mozzarella on top.
Now Bake Your Spinach Dip Wonton Cups Again
Pop the tray of Spinach Artichoke Wonton Cups back into the oven for another 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling, and the filling is hot.
Optional but Highly Recommended: Sprinkle your spinach and artichoke wonton cups with fresh parsley for that final touch of pizzazz.
Serve these Spinach Artichoke Wontons warm! Trust me, these spinach artichoke dip cups are the kind of party appetizer that disappears as soon as they hit the table.
A Quick Tip for Perfect Spinach Artichoke Wontons
A little pro tip from my experience - check the Spinach Artichoke Wontons cups right after the first bake to make sure they’re still open enough to hold the filling. If any have caved in a bit, no stress! You can gently reshape them while they’re still warm. This tiny adjustment can make all the difference.
Make these Spinach Artichoke Wontons Your Own
