Two of my favorite baked goods are brownies and cookies – I am sure that aside from the errant cupcake lover, most of you will agree. BROWNIES ARE DELICIOUS. And cookies?! What? Of course we all love them. Well, have you ever combined the two into a BROOKIE? It will change your life. A friend recently shared this recipe with me and I am so excited to tell you How to Make Brookies: a Brownie Cookies Recipe too!

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
  • 1 1 /4 C. flour

Directions

Combine the ingredients, mixing well. The dough will be thick and that is ok.

  • 1 C. packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 C. flour
  • 4 tsp. corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 C. chocolate chips + more for placing a few extra on top of each Brookie

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Combine the chocolate chip cookie ingredients, mixing well.

To make the Brookies – for a 1″ ball out of the each dough: Chocolate Chip AND brownie. Now, smoosh together and gently roll into into a ball and place 2-3″ a part on your baking shets (see photo).

Repeat with remaining dough. You may have extra chocolate chip dough leftover so feel free to bake it as usual.

Bake 8-10 minutes on 350 degrees. Do not overbake – these are wonderful being soft and chewy.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool.
