- Semi-sweet chocolate chips - You can use any type of chocolate, but I prefer semi-sweet chocolate chips or bittersweet chocolate chips.
- Wilton red candy melts / pink candy melts / white candy melts
- Conversation candy hearts
- Valentine's Day sprinkles

Instructions for making this Valentine Bark Festive Treat
With just a few simple ingredients and a little love, this Candy Bark Recipe is the perfect way to celebrate this fun holiday with the chocolate lovers in your life. The detailed step by step instructions are in the printable recipe card below.
Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl or glass bowl and microwave on 50% powder for for 30-second intervals.
Spread melted chocolate into an even layer on your prepared cookie sheet lined with wax paper, about ¼" thick and then set aside.
Drizzle and loop one color at a time on top of the best chocolate.
Repeat with additional colors and on the last color add conversation hearts to the melted candy.
Use a knife to carefully cut the candy bark into pieces and serve.

Ingredients
- 1 package 12 oz, semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon red candy melts
- 1 tablespoon pink candy melts
- 1 tablespoon white candy melts
- conversation candy hearts

Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet or rimmed baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper and set it aside.
- Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl or glass bowl and microwave on 50% powder for for 30-second intervals. Stir with a rubber spatula or butter knife. Return to the microwave and repeat, heating and stirring the milk chocolate until smooth. Spread melted chocolate into an even layer on your prepared cookie sheet lined with wax paper, about ¼" thick and then set aside.
- Add each color candy melts to a separate resealable sandwich bag but do not seal. Let's start with the pink! Place the chocolate wafers candy melts into a microwave-safe container and microwave at 50% power for 30-second intervals. Knead the bag of melted pink chocolate and flip over. Return to microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power and knead until smooth. Seal the bag and snip the tip.
- For best results, you will want to use this method described above, but you can using a small pan or a double boiler over an inch of water is also a great way to melt your chocolate for this easy Valentine dessert.
- Drizzle and loop one color at a time on top of the best chocolate. Add valentine sprinkles. Repeat with additional colors and on the last color add conversation hearts to the melted candy.
- Let stand to harden.
- Use a knife to carefully cut the candy bark into pieces and serve.
