Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake Recipe for Strawberry Shortcake Day
It is that most wonderful time of the year when we celebrate the best summer time dessert every conceived - strawberry shortcake! Strawberry shortcake just happens to be one of my favorite desserts!
I love that tender, moist cake combined with all that strawberry goodness. It was also a pretty awesome cartoon.
Celebrate Strawberry Shortcake Day with this delicious dessert and Macy's this year.
Just look at that. The tender cake. The sweet strawberry. The whipped cream. This is a strawberry shortcake that you need in your gullet right now!
Although it looks all fancy, you'll be in and out of the kitchen in no time, and really, that's the recipe for success.
After your brief stint in the kitchen, you and your guests can then enjoy a strawberry packed dessert that can't be beat. Sounds like a winner, to me.
