Recipe Notes
Please note that this recipe uses TWO eggs - but they are used in different parts of the recipe. I apologize for the confusion!
Debbie
Does this recipe need 1 egg or two? You have an egg added to the cake mixture, and one added to the cream cheese mixture.
Jenn
You need 2 eggs total for this recipe. 1 egg is used in making the bottom layer - like the "crust" - and the other egg is used with the cream cheese part. I hope this helps!
Debbie
That does help. What would be even better is updating the recipe to have an accurate ingredient list. If 2 eggs are needed, then 2 eggs should be listed- not 1egg.
Jenn
It does show egg twice - I really appreciate this input! You’re 100% right, I’m going to revise it. I forget that I may think differently than others! Xoxo
