How to Make This Cranberry Pinwheel Cookies Recipe for Christmas
Cranberry Pinwheel Cookies Recipe for Christmas Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1-½ cups flour
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- ½ cup chopped fresh cranberries
- ½ cup chopped peanuts (I used ice cream nut topping)

Cranberry Pinwheel Cookies Recipe for Christmas Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla with a mixer until fluffy. Add dry ingredients and beat just until combined. Wrap dough in a ball and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for one hour.
Roll chilled dough onto a floured surface into a large rectangle.
Mix together brown sugar and milk and spread onto the dough, leaving a ½" edge all the way around. Sprinkle with cranberries and peanuts.
Roll up dough, starting with the long edge and wrap tightly with wax paper. Refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice cookies into ¼" rounds and place 2" apart on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until just golden brown on the bottom. Let set for 2 minutes on the pan to cool before transfering to a cooling rack to cool completely.
