We are taking a few cans of traditional pork and beans and taking them to a whole new level with the addition of ground beef, bacon and seasonings!
Ingredients you will need to make Baked Beans with Ground Beef
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup, chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3 cans, 16 oz each, pork and beans (do not drain)
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and chopped

Directions for how to make baked beans
Add your ground beef and onions to a large skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Heat over medium high heat, stirring frequently until beef is browned and onions are translucent. Drain grease.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and pour ground beef mixture into a 9x13 baking pan. Add beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard and bacon. Mix well.
Spread evenly into pan.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand for 10-15 minutes and serve warm.
