Substitutions for this Frozen Tequila Margarita

There are so many ways to mix up this easy Berry Frozen Margaritas recipe! If you are missing certain ingredients or have allergies, there is really no WRONG way to make frozen margaritas!

    • Key Limes - Instead of regular limes for the lime juice, try Key Lime Juice!
    • Frozen Strawberries - If you only have frozen strawberries on hand, you can use those instead of fresh berries. Just adjust the amount of ice in the recipe so that it isn't too frozen.
    • Tequila vs Vodka vs Rum - If you don't like tequila, or don't have any at home, you can substitute Vodka or Silver/White Rum. It won't really be a margarita anymore, but it will still taste amazing!
    • Agave nectar - You can replace the simple syrup with agave nectar.

A High Quality Blender is worth the Investment!

Equipment can have a big impact on how a recipe turns out. I personally LOVE my Ninja Foodi line of kitchen accessories, and this love began with my first Ninja Foodi Blender! One of the best blenders on the market, the Ninja Foodi SS201 Power Blender & Processor is comparable to the Vitamix blenders that became all the rage years ago - but are much more affordable! I am still using the same Ninja Foodi blender that I bought 10 years ago, but this model is a modern-day comparison and is under $150!

You can buy the Ninja Foodi SS201 Power Blender & Processor: 3-in-1 Crushing Blender, Dough Mixer, and Food Processor 1400WP smartTORQUE 6 Auto-iQ Presets on Amazon.
