    Greek Grazing Board

Ingredients you need to begin gathering for this Greek Mezze Board

While there is no wrong way to create a Greek Food Platter, you will want to start by getting a cutting board, or a large rectangular wooden board or round board to begin arranging your fresh ingredients on.

crunchy cucumbers, feta cheese, salami, pita crackers, sardines, and kalamata olives
    • Tzatziki dip
    • Hummus or baba ghanoush dip
    • Pita Crackers or Pita Bread / pita chips
    • Sardines in hot sauce
    • Stuffed vine leaves
    • kalamata olives and/or green olives
    • Cured meats like Genoa salami and/or Sopressata salami slices
    • Fresh grape tomatoes or cherry tomatoes
    • Fresh mini crunchy cucumbers
    • Feta cheese or goat cheese
    • dates or selection of dried fruit

Keep in mind that the exact quantities - as well as my ideas for substitutions and variations for this Inspired Greek Charcuterie Board - are included in the printable recipe card at the end of this post.

How to make this Greek Antipasto Charcuterie Board

Begin by selecting your favorite board, platter or tray for this Greek Grazing Board. Find small bowls and dishes for the small items - all of the "juicy" items and the dip items. These include: tzatziki dip, hummus, sardines, wine leaves and olives.

crunchy cucumbers, feta cheese, salami, pita crackers, sardines, and kalamata olives

Place the small bowls onto the platter and spread them out. Fill each dish with one of each of those items and place them onto the platter.

Begin by tucking the larger items around the bowls on the tray. Place only one layer of each item on the platter, so you can move and adjust the items.

    salami folded in half

Fold the salami slices in half and half again and place onto the platter.

    crunchy cucumbers

Cut the crunchy cucumbers and add to the charcuterie board, along with the other vegetables.

feta cheese cut on a plastic cutting board

Cut the feta cheese and add to the platter.

When all items are on the platter, add a second and third layer to fill the platter and load up the goodies.

    Greek Charcuterie Board Ideas

Serve this Mediterranean Charcuterie Board immediately or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Hint: Please note, if you plan to refrigerate and then serve the Greek Grazing Board later in the day or evening, it is a best bet to remove the crackers and add them to your charcuterie board later - just before you are going to serve it to your guests. Wrap the entire meal in plastic wrap so that nothing goes stale. The crackers will soften if they are left on the plate with the other ingredients, and no one likes a soggy cracker or pita chip!

    Tips for Creating Charcuterie Boards

The perfect way to create Greek Charcuterie Boards is to buy high-quality ingredients and arrange them with a little loving care! Bring the taste of the Greek Islands to your next dinner party by visiting your local market or the grocery store the same day so that all of the ingredients are fresh.
