I am always looking an excuse to bake up a quick batch of cookies. Anyone that knows me knows that I basically live for sweets...and cookies are my ultimate vice! I love chocolate chip cookies all year long, and it's so much fun to make a batch festive for each holiday by using the special seasonally colored M&Ms! This Springtime M&Ms Cookies Recipe replaces chocolate chips with M&Ms for an extra chocolaty, crunchy surprise in every bite!
Of course you can use plain old chocolate chips instead of M&Ms, but where's the fun in that?
Springtime M&Ms Cookies Recipe
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Cream the butter with an electric mixer, then beat in your egg, sugars and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a large fowl. Slowly combine with wet ingredients, then stir in the nuts and M&Ms.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes. I bake them for 10 for a softer cookie, but if you like a more crisp cookie, bake them for 12 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
If you don't own cooling racks, don't fret! You can always line your counter top with parchment paper and set the cookies on the paper to cool. It will just take longer because there isn't any air flow beneath the cookies.

Visiting from Super Saturday Link Up Party! These looks so pretty, I love your idea of using m&ms to make them colourful, they look very yummy too!

We just went to the M&M store in NY. We have a ton of M&Ms - this would be fun to make with them. thanks so much for linking it up to The Friday Frenzy - see you again on Friday!
