This year, let's shake up the celebration on National Mojito Day with an easy recipe for a Raspberry Mojito Mocktail - a delicious, nonalcoholic twist on the classic mojito that's perfect for everyone!

Why You'll Love This Virgin Mojito Cocktail

This Raspberry Mojito Mocktail is the ultimate summer drink to cool down with on a scorching summer day! I am sharing a few different mocktails this week, like our Blackberry Mojito! I realize that not everyone drinks alcohol - and honestly, even those of us who do sometimes want the tasty beverage without the boozy component.

I personally don't really drink much when I am outdoors - especially in the summer heat because it gives me really bad headaches. but mojitos are my VERY FAVORITE cocktail, and I've found that they taste every bit as good without the alcohol - and I don't get a headache after drinking them in the heat!

Imagine enjoying a fizzy, minty drink bursting with sweet raspberries and zesty lemon! Doesn't it sound irresistible? This mocktail is not just delicious but also a breeze to whip up. And hey, it's non-alcoholic, so everyone can join in the fun on National Mojito Day!

How to Make a Raspberry Mojito Mocktail

We've got some fresh raspberries in our Raspberry Mojito Mocktail Cocktail recipe, but hey, the frozen ones will work too! Just make sure that they are totally defrosted.

Please note: This raspberry virgin mojitos recipe only makes 1 drink, so feel free to double or triple it if you're serving guests!

Ingredients you will need to make a Raspberry Mojito Mocktail

    • ¾ cup raspberries, and a few for garnish
    • ½ lemon, sliced
    • 1 can of sparkling water, or you can use Sprite or 7-Up for a sweet drink
    • 5-7 mint leaves
    • Ice - this is optional, but highly recommended, because a mojito always tastes better when it's ice cold!
bowls of raspberries, lemon wedges, lemon juice and mint

Directions for how to make a Raspberry Mojito Mocktail

To create a refreshing drink, simply toss in the raspberries, mint leaves, and sliced lemon into a jug. Crush them up right there in the jug using a muddle or the back of a wooden spoon!

Pour your sparkling water or whichever beverage you are using, and stir everything together.

Then add the ice and garnish your virgin cocktail with mint leaves, raspberries, and a pretty slice of lemon! YUM!

Our Top Tips for Making the Perfect Mocktail

    • Use Fresh Ingredients - Fresh raspberries and mint leaves will give you the best flavor.
    • Adjust the Sweetness to Taste - If you prefer a sweet drink like a traditional mojito, you can add ½ teaspoon of sugar or agave syrup, or use Sprite instead of sparkling water to add sweetness.
    • You Can Make it with Alcohol - If you want to make this with alcohol, just add 1 or 2 ounces of white rum to the mix - depending on how strong you like it!
