This Pumpkin Cheese Ball Appetizer Recipe is perfect for the upcoming fall holidays, especially Halloween and Thanksgiving! I mean...when isn't a cheese ball AMAZING?!?
Pumpkin Cheese Ball Appetizer
I love a good cheese ball, I mean...who doesn't!? There is a reason that Halloween cheese ball appetizer recipes are one of the most popular party foods, and they are so easily customized for the different holidays or for different occasions.
Pumpkin Cheese Ball Appetizer Recipe for Halloween and Thanksgiving
Please note that if you put the chips on the serving platter and then cover and refrigerate it, they will get really soft from the moisture.
So you need to decide if you want a crunch or not! I love a nice crunch, so if you want that crunch, put the chips on as close to serving as possible. I don't recommend that you store this with any crackers as the crackers will soften, too. But this Pumpkin Cheese Ball can easily be made ahead and the chips added later if so desired!
I personally suggest waiting until you are serving this Pumpkin Cheese Ball Recipe at your holiday function to preserve that crunch, it really adds a lot to the cheese ball, combined with the softness of the cheese itself.

Thanks for this great recipe! I used a bell pepper stem for the pumpkin top, but otherwise followed exactly!
