The cake mix trend has not lost its stronghold in American cooking culture, at least. Cake mixes save us all so much time and lend such versatility in the kitchen. I absolutely love using a cake mix here and there to save time in the kitchen while still being able to deliver a delectable dessert!

Mix together cake mix, pumpkin puree and water.
Spread evenly into prepared pan and bake for 24-28 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow your pan to cool down completely, I would say to leave it sitting on the cooling rack for at least 30 minutes.
Once it has cooled down, begin slicing the bars into 18 pieces and then give it a generous sprinkling of powdered sugar.
