This Giant Red White and Blue Cookie Pizza is going to be absolutely perfect for you to serve at your Memorial Day barbecue, 4th of July celebration or really just any super fun social gathering this summer!

Grab a cast iron skillet, pie plate, or your favorite pizza pan - making cookie pizza is one of the most fun desserts to dress up for your favorite American holiday!

Red, White and Blue Patriotic Cookie Pizza

Why You'll Love Patriotic Cookie Pizza

This is a super easy cookie pizza recipe that uses a chocolate chip cookie dough mix instead of measuring out the ingredients separately. It's a really versatile recipe. You can make cookie pizza with any cookie mix you want! Try this with sugar cookie mix next for something fun.

Decorating patriotic cookies is so much fun! Make designs, decorate them to look like the flag, or use your favorite frosting decorating tips to make flowers on top. Be creative and have fun with it.

This is the perfect patriotic party dessert because you can easily cut one cookie pizza into 16 pieces. I cut this into 8 pieces for the photos, but I recommend you cut it into 16 slices because that's a big cookie!

If you're in the mood to make cookies from scratch, how about making some leftover oatmeal cookies, million dollar cookies, or chocolate mint cookies? They are some of my favorites!

Patriotic Red, White & Blue Cookie Pizza Steps

Here are some step-by-step pictures showing you how I made and decorated the cookies.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 12" pizza plate. Set aside.

Add cookie mix, ¼ cup jimmies, butter and egg to a bowl and mix well.

Adding butter and egg to the dry cookie dough ingredients
Adding sprinkles to dry cookie dough ingredients

The mix will be stiff and take a minute to come together.

    Spread into prepared pan.

Unbaked chocolate chip cookie dough in a pie plate

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.

Add a small amount of royal blue candy melts to a sandwich-size resealable bag, but do not seal. I'd suggest about 10 melts. Microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power and knead. Repeat and heat again, kneading until smooth. Snip a very small opening in the corner of the bag and drizzle onto the top of the pizza.

Drizzling blue candy melts all around the baked cookie

Add sprinkles. Repeat with the red candy melts.

Place frosting into a piping bag fitted with a 1M tip. Pipe frosting onto the edge of the cookie pizza.

Adding white frosting stars around the outside edge of the cookie

    Sprinkle with jimmies.

Adding sprinkles to the skillet cookie

Slice into 16 slices and enjoy.
