Some people call this delicious fruit salad strawberry marshmallow fluff - just remember that it has strawberries and you're good!
This Strawberry Fruit Salad Recipe is REALLY good and not at all like that nasty fluff stuff my grandma made with Jell-O and marshmallows...and wasn't there cottage cheese or something in it?
UGH I hate cottage cheese and was always disappointed when I realized that it was fluff and not my delicious ambrosia salad. Who does that? Cottage cheese? YUCK! You won't find any of that in our strawberry marshmallow fluff recipe!

- ¾ cup melted butter

- 2 cups (16 ounces) fresh strawberries, washed and quartered
- 8 ounces whipped topping

Directions for making this Not Your Grandma's Strawberry Fluff Salad Recipe
Firstly, begin by preheating your oven to 400 degrees F.
Mix together the pretzels, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Make sure that all of these ingredients are well coated and get that yummy sugar and butter into all of the nooks and crannies!
Spread your strawberry fluff base onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 7 minutes, or until bubbly. Set aside to cool.
Break apart into small pieces once it is completely cooled down.

Not Your Grandma's Strawberry Fluff Salad
Ingredients
- 1 cup pretzels crushed
- ½ cup pecans chopped
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¾ cup butter melted
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups strawberries 16 ounces fresh, washed and quartered
- 8 oz whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Mix pretzels, pecans, brown sugar and melted butter in a bowl.
- Spread onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 7 minutes or until bubbly.
- Set aside to cool. Break apart into small pieces once completely cool.
- Add cream cheese, white sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat until mixed well. Add in whipped topping and beat until combined.
- Fold berries and pretzels into cream mixture. Serve immediately.
- Store in the refrigerator, covered.
