It’s everyone’s guilty pleasure this time of year. We have our fancy coffee drinks, baked goods, even room sprays.

Seems like everywhere you look there’s a new *thing* made into our favorite fall flavor. I’m not ashamed to admit that I’ve taken a selfie or eight with my yummy coffee drink. Don’t judge.

WHY SHOULD YOU INCLUDE PUMPKIN IN YOUR DIET?

Pumpkin is such a versatile vegetable, and it can be used in a many different sweet and savory dishes – any time of year! And pumpkin SHOULD be a part of your diet throughout the year, because it’s a super food!

What better way to add a little bit of pumpkin to your diet than serving up this delicious Homemade Pumpkin Butter recipe this fall season?

It is also great to give as gifts, especially now with COVID19, money is stretched tight for many of us. I love the idea of homemade gifts, especially food stuffs!

Did you know that Pumpkin is full of fiber and Vitamin A, and is packed with Beta Carotene? When I replace eggs and oil in recipes with pumpkin puree, I am not only reducing the fat content, but I am adding nutritional content to my dishes!

You can also stir a little pumpkin puree into jarred or prepared sauces to help reduce the amount of sodium in each serving.

See, I told you that pumpkin is a super food!
