Directions for making this breakfast sliders Hawaiian rolls:
First, cook your bacon or you can even use pre-cooked bacon.
Second, preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half (if they're not already precut) and place the bottom of the buns into a small casserole dish.
Then top each bun with half a slice of American cheese. (I cut the cheese in quarters and place 2 pieces on each bottom bun.)
TIP: You can actually use any type of cheese you like - I love me a nice sharp cheddar cheese!
Then slice the bacon into smaller pieces. I sliced mine into thirds so that they fit onto the buns without too much of an overhang. You're going to want to place two slices of bacon onto each bun.
Next, in a small skillet, whisk together your eggs and milk and season with salt and pepper. Now cook your eggs over medium heat, stirring frequently until cooked, but not completely cooked. They should be a bit runny, or "wet," because they're going to finish cooking in the oven once you've assembled your Hawaiian breakfast roll dish.
You want the eggs to hold together slightly but not be too runny! Spread your scrambled eggs evenly on top of the bacon.
Place the tops of buns on the sliders and then use a pastry brush to spread the melted butter on the top of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Please note that the sesame seeds are completely optional, it's just something that I like!
Bake your Hawaiian roll breakfast sandwich for 10-15 minutes or until they are hot. Then serve them immediately, or allow them to cool down and wrap the casserole dish with plastic wrap and put them in the fridge if you're doing them as make ahead breakfast sliders!
