Please note that the red food coloring doesn’t dry on the chocolate, it stays “wet,” so please don’t stack them or the colors will smear! And watch your fingers when eating them or they will look bloody! Or maybe you think that is just perfect for Halloween, I suppose! Ha ha!
These Halloween Eyeball Cookies Recipe are a great way to celebrate Halloween, as they are so festive and so much fun to make! If you have little ones at home, they will love helping out in the kitchen and making these delicious little spooky cookies!

How to make this Halloween Eyeball Cookies Recipe
Ingredients needed for making this Halloween Eyeball Cookies Recipe
- Vanilla Wafer Cookies
- 12 oz white almond bark
- orange, vibrant green and turquoise candy melts
- chocolate chips
- red gel food coloring

Halloween Eyeball Cookies Recipe Directions:
Line a baking sheet or cutting board with wax paper and set aside.
Add half of the almond bark to a microwave safe bowl and melt according to package directions.
Dip the cookies into the almond bark.
Start top side down, and flip them over with a fork.
Lift them out of the bowl and gently tap or scrape the bottom on the side of the bowl. Set onto the prepared wax paper.
Working in batches, repeat until all chocolate is melted and cookies are covered. Set aside to harden. Once the almond is hardened, divide the cookies in thirds.
Add a small handful of colored candy melts to a sealable sandwich bag but do not seal. Place in the microwave and microwave for 30 seconds at 50% power, three times, kneading after each time in the microwave.
Seal the bag and snip the tip. Pipe a round dollop of color onto one third of the covered cookies and gently place a chocolate chip in the center.
Repeat with remaining two colors. Let set to harden.
Using a toothpick, dip into the color gel and squiggle onto the white of the cookie. Repeat until all cookies are covered.
