Everyone loves hot chocolate during the winter, so this Snowman Soup in a Jar DIY makes the perfect homemade gift for giving! It's relatively inexpensive to make, and it's so pretty that it doesn't even need wrapping!

The trick to making this super, super easy to pull off for little money is to save your spaghetti sauce jars. Wash them really good a few times to remove any odors and set them aside. If you have an issue removing the labels, just soak them in hot, soapy water for about an hour and they will easily scrub off with one of those sponges with a scrubby side.

Or, if you're super lazy, buy a bottle of goo be gone, spray once, let sit for a minute, and easily wipe it all off with a paper towel. Just be sure to wash the jar again, as that stuff has a super pungent odor!

    Ingredients

6 packages Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Powder
    ½ cup mini marshmallows
    ¼ cup chocolate chips

    Directions

Layer the hot cocoa powder, then marshmallows and add the chocolate chips on top.

Jiggle the jar lightly so that the chocolate chips fall down into the marshmallows.

It just looks cuter this way!

Add a small piece of colored tissue or Christmas wrapping paper - you can use Christmas fabric if you have any - and then tie a pretty ribbon around the lid.

Attach a gift tag and you're all set!

Normally there are directions for the person receiving the gift on how to prepare the item. Do you have directions to attach with the gift tag?
