    What Is Fried Rice?

It's a popular side dish at Chinese and Asian restaurants. Maybe you've even seen hibachi chefs make it in front of you.

Fried rice is a really easy way to use leftover rice. It usually uses small, diced vegetables, eggs, and sometimes incorporates a protein (like chicken or pork).

There are a ton of different ways to make fried rice, but I made a simple recipe anyone can make.

    Fried Rice Tips

    • Make it spicier with a dash of Sriracha
    • Cook your rice a day before and store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container
    • Use teriyaki sauce instead of soy sauce
    • Add some nutty notes by adding a splash of sesame oil
    • It's a great way to use leftover cooked shrimp, chicken, or pork chops.
