This Creole Cajun Shrimp Recipe is super tasty and it comes together quickly, too. This Creole Cajun Shrimp recipe is just so unique. It is like a Mardi Gras party in your mouth, and a spicy shrimp fajita at the same time, minus the tortillas!
If you are in the mood for something spicy, buckle up because you are in for a real treat. This dish has just enough Cajun seasoning to add some flare to it, without needing a gallon of milk or a fire extinguisher to put out the heat.
This is very similar to the type of meal you would eat in New Orleans, and even better you won't pay a fortune for it either.

Creole Cajun Shrimp Recipe
The Creole Cajun Shrimp Recipe is a real time saver of a meal, especially if you buy the shrimp already peeled and deveined. Most markets only charge a dollar or two more per pound and they do the work for you.
Also, buying the onions, green peppers and red peppers in a bag is not only less costly, but again the work is already done for you. You will save time by not having to cut up the vegetables or washing them. It is a win win!

You will be using brown rice for this particular recipe which is healthier than white rice and tends to be a tad bit more sticky. The sauce mixture will cling to the rice and provide a nice smooth consistency.
Cost wise, this meal was very reasonable! I spent approximately $20 dollars in all and it it serves 6 people. That's a little over three dollars per person, and for shrimp? That's just simply amazing.
