Check out this amazing Apple Cider Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe for your next holiday gathering...or just to make for breakfast or brunch one day when you are feeling especially indulgent!

    Apple Cider Cinnamon Roll Cake

This Apple Cider Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe is so easy to make, even though it has lots of ingredients. Just give it a try, because you really won't regret it! I think it's a fun brunch item to make too! What a great way to celebrate the weekend, right? A delicious brunch of apple cinnamon roll cake!

Editor's Notes About This Apple Cider Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe:

    • You can use the same dough to make traditional cinnamon rolls.
    • You can also stuff them with apple butter or even pumpkin butter. The result is incredibly good too!
    • These rolls are soft and fluffy and spicy and sweet all at the same time.
    • You can glaze it too! I used a simple icing made with confectioners sugar a bit of milk and vanilla mixed together until it was pourable.

Apple Cider Cinnamon Roll Cake Recipe Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl mix the apple cider and the butter together. Add the applesauce, brown sugar, egg, cinnamon, nutmeg and dry yeast.

Add the flour and with the help of a spatula, stir until incorporated.

Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 3 minutes, until a soft and elastic dough forms. Return to the bowl and cover with a cloth. Let it rise for 1 hour.

Gently punch the dough down to deflate it and return it to a floured surface. Roll the dough into a 8x10 inch rectangle. Spread the butter onto the dough and sprinkle with the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Using a sharp knife cut the dough into five 2 inch wide strips. Roll up one strip and place in the center of the skillet. Coil the remaining strips around the first one, shaping a giant cinnamon roll.

Cover the skillet with a cloth and let it rest for 40 minutes.

Take the cinnamon roll to the oven and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
