What Are Cheesy Biscuits?
Cheesy biscuits are homemade biscuits made with an additional ingredient - cheese!
These flaky biscuits taste just like the ones grandma used to make. They are spiced with garlic and filled with melted cheese. The combination makes them the perfect side dish for comfort meals like pot roast or pork chops, especially if you can dip them in gravy.
An Easy Cheesy Biscuits Recipe
I love biscuits. Oh, how I love them...especially with a little bit of butter and a smearing of local honey. Or smothered in a rich, thick layer of homemade sausage gravy. Or with a sprinkling of fresh - or even dried - herbs and cheese. Or just cheese.
Basically, I just really love biscuits, no matter what, when, why or how!
These Cheesy Biscuits are not quite like the Cheddar Bay biscuits that you will find at your neighborhood Red Lobster, but they are actually pretty close!
If you're looking for another tasty side dish to make next, how about some maple bacon breakfast rolls? They are addicting!

Why You'll Love It
This Easy Cheesy Biscuits Recipe is very simple to make - thus the "EASY" part of the recipe title! I recommend using a really good cheddar cheese, like Kerrygold!
Freshly grated cheese just adds a little extra flavor, in my opinion. Of course you can use the bagged varieties from Sargento or Kraft - they'll still taste good and it will save you a little time when you're making them...which I promise you will be quite often!
This Easy Cheesy Biscuits Recipe is just perfect for Sunday dinner with the family, or to serve at holiday meals!
