This Valentine’s Day Nougat Candy Recipe is really good and easy to make. I did purchase 3 of the “theater box” size of Dots at the store and picked out all of the red ones to get 1-1/2 cups for this recipe! It is a little challenging to cut the gumdrops.

This is such a fun recipe to make, but be warned that you need to use a little force when cutting the gum drops. I got a blister on my finger from cutting them! But it’s all good, the results were worth it for sure!

Crazy question can you make this with milk chocolate melts?
I haven’t tried it, but you can certainly try it out! Milk chocolate melts differently than candy melts, so the consistency may not be the same.
