The Oreo cookies make a nice, solid and tasty crust - very similar to a graham cracker crust, but tastier! You will be using melted butter because it combines with the Oreo Cookie crumbs a lot better than cold butter.
I recommend setting aside your butter and cream cheese about an hour before you begin baking this delicious Oreo Cookie Cream Cheese Bars Recipe, so that the cream cheese has time to soften and the butter melts easier.
You will also need some basic baking supplies like Granulated Sugar, Sour cream, All purpose flour, Pure Vanilla Extract and Eggs.
You will be using Red and pink gel food coloring as well as Valentine sprinkles - I recommend Wilton brand, but you can use any that you like! Just keep in mind that many red food coloring have a pretty yucky taste, so make sure to get tasteless food coloring.
