    What Are Turkey Cupcakes?

No, they aren't cupcakes made with turkey! (I'm not recreating Rachel's trifle from Friends). Instead, these cute cupcakes look like turkeys.

There are a ton of easy ways to decorate cupcakes like turkeys. I used Nutter Butter cookies and candy corn. This is a perfect recipe for beginning cupcake decorators.

I absolutely LOVE this adorable little Thanksgiving Dessert Recipe, and while it looks pretty detailed, it is so easy to make!

Serve these Turkey Cupcakes with Candy Corn at your next Thanksgiving dinner, or sell them at a bake sale. Just remember that Nutter Butter cookies are filled with peanut butter, so they might not be a good idea to take to school.

Here are some pictures of the entire process so you can see how I decorated cupcakes to look like turkeys.

Remove about 1 tablespoon of frosting from the tub and place into a sealable sandwich bag. Set aside.

Adding frosting to a plastic bag.

With remaining frosting, color it dark brown using food coloring. Place icing into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip and frost the cupcakes.

    Set aside.

Place cookies on a flat surface. Using the reserved white frosting, snip a small corner of the bag and pipe a small amount on the cookie and place the candy eyes on the cookie.
