Key West is one of my favorite vacation destinations. As a blogger who is kind of known for traveling, many of my favorite spots have turned into "work" in the form of press trips. Hey, I'm not complaining at all - complimentary airfare and hotel are always incredibly appreciated...but when I am on a press trip, I am working. I'm not there to enjoy myself, I'm there to research and gather information for blog posts, and I am pretty much required to share every second of every day on social media. It's still a lot of fun, but there's just nothing like a real vacation - and when I want a real vacation, away from work and blogging and social media, I go to Key West. Check out these Photos that will make you want to go to Key West and you'll be packing your bags in no time!
Photos that will make you want to go to Key West
The days are sunny and wonderful in Key West, but the sunsets are even more beautiful...every night, when I'm tired and worn down from the day, I relax and take in the beauty...
Then it's up early in the morning to do it all over again...a day on the beach, a day on a charter boat, or a day spent bar hopping? Every option points to the best day ever.
If you love birds, there are plenty around in Key West - especially if you book a charter boat to go out to the protected area! But you can rest assured that you'll even see friendly pelicans right at the marina.
Seagulls are annoying, but you have to admit, they're fun to watch while relaxing on your balcony.
Make sure you book a room in a hotel with beachfront access for the ultimate in relaxation...
When it's not too hot out, take a trolley ride through Old Town! Most of the tour operators are fresh water conchs - meaning that they moved to Key West as adults.
People who were born and raised in Key West are called Conchs.
No matter what you do, make sure you head to Mallory Square for the sunset celebration. I promise you, you will never see another sunset like this...the sunset in Key West couldn't even handle a filter if you wanted to use one.
So what do you think? Are you ready to go?
