    Directions

Just like the ingredients, all the exact steps are in the printable recipe card, too. First, here are some step-by-step pictures so you can see how I turned cookies and donuts into cute little bats.

Cut round cookies in half to make wings. Set aside.

Cutting round chocolate cookies into triangles

Use a knife to cut a “chunk” out of the side of one marshmallow fudge cookie. Make sure the divot is large enough to fit the half round cookie.

Repeat on the other side to create a second cavity for a wing.

Cutting divots into the marshmallow chocolate cookie

Add chocolate chips to a resealable sandwich bag but do not seal.

Microwave the mini chocolate chips for 60 seconds at 50% power and knead until smooth. Snip the tip of the bag and use it to pipe the melted chocolate onto a wing tip and place the wing into the cookie.

Adding melted chocolate to the end of the chocolate mint cookie pieces

Hold for a few seconds so the chocolate begins to set. Repeat with the second wing.

adding the chocolate mint cookie pieces to the marshmallow cookies so they look like bat ears

Cut a small piece of candy corn and cut it in half so you have a small set of “teeth.”

Use chocolate to pipe onto the cookie for teeth and add eyes as well.

Repeat until you have the desired number of cookies.
