My ‘Light’ Dole Whip Recipe is a copycat foodie favorite! I easily made it at home and saved myself some calories. It’s perfect for your 4th Of July drinks and desserts!

‘Light’ Dole Whip Copycat Recipe

It’s been awhile since I was at Disney World. Like, way too long.  But, I have never forgotten the cool, refreshing taste of what’s now one of my favorite frozen beverages! Have you ever had a Pineapple Dole Whip from the Tiki Bar in the Disney park? They are to die for. Especially when it’s a super hot August day and you’ve spent it running from the Tea Cups to Cinderella’s Castle and back a few times. Although, now that I’m an adult, that day trip will most likely take me all weekend. Age has a way of slowing us down, doesn’t it? Also, it has a way of throwing some extra baggage in our trunks. Since I’m trying to eat a bit better and make healthier choices, I did some tweaking to this Dole Whip Copycat Recipe I found.

I swapped the sugar for SPLENDA® Sugar Blend and came up with a really great recipe for it that can easily be made at home without having to drive all the way to Orlando…or take a toll on my waistline! Total savings score for my wallet and my diet!

Tbe real pineapple Dole Whip soft serve is non-dairy. Also, using Splenda to save some calories seems pointless, once you add heavy cream, which also adds fat. Skip the cream to make it healthier – and true to the original Dole Whip.

Boy does this look refreshing. I love anything with Pineapple. I wonder if I could add a little coconut or a touch of coconut water (slightly frozen) of course to make it kinda a Pina Colada. Oh my that sounds like the beach.

I love the sounds of this but I think instead of using the heavy cream I would use the low fat cool whip. yummmmmmm thank you for the recipe!
