Ingredients needed to make this Easy Low Carb Appetizer Recipe
- 16 slices salami
- 1 small jar of marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- ⅓ cup roasted red peppers, chopped
- 4 ounces mini mozzarella cheese balls
- 1 teaspoon dried basil or ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- salt and pepper to taste

Directions for making this Easy Low Carb Appetizer Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375 and place 1 slice of salami per cup in a muffin tin. Press the salami slice down into the cup folding the edges in if necessary, to get the salami to stay inside of the cup.
Bake the salami slices for 6-8 minutes or until they are slightly crispy. Allow the salami slices to cool down completely before proceeding to the next step - it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
In a bowl add artichoke hearts, red peppers, cheese, basil and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon about 2 teaspoons each into salami cup.
Refrigerate until you are ready to serve.

Hello, Sounds great. Are you using pepperoni too or just interchanging the words salami and pepperoni?
I don't see pepperoni on the list of ingredients, but i though ti may help hold the salami in the cup??? Making tonight....an answer would be great!
