    I've begun preparing for my upcoming trip aboard the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship in July, which includes an overnight port in Venice, Italy. I have always wanted to see Venice, so it was pretty easy to find these 5 Things to Do In Venice, Italy when I began researching!

    The canals, the gondola rides, the cafes...and I will finally have my chance!

    While I have an overnight port in Venice during my time with the Carnival Sunshine cruise ship, I also plan on extending my stay in Italy by a few days.MSC Cruises 

    I hope to spend the remainder of my time in Rome, so I have all day to enjoy all that Venice has to offer!

    5 Things to Do In Venice, Italy

    I have been researching things to do in Venice online and found three pages of tours available through one of my affiliate companies that I have personally used,  Viator.com!

    Viator is a wonderful company to use when you want to stretch your travel budget as far as possible without sacrificing a quality experience. 

    Venice Gondola Ride and Serenade - $35.61

    Experience Venice in the most Venetian way possible: via a shared gondola ride while being serenaded. Choose between an afternoon or evening ride and then hop on the six-person gondola by a gondolier who is clad in traditional garb.

    Then begin the ride, as part of a group of eight different gondolas, with a singer aboard one of the boats. In addition to the song being sun to you, enjoy the sites of Venice's main landmarks, including the grand Canal and Palazzo Barberino.
