4 Tips for Easy Holiday Party Planning
We will give you a few tips for your holiday entertaining along with a few recipe ideas. Today we are focusing on Thanksgiving, because I get to host my family's Thanksgiving dinner this year.
I AM SO EXCITED!!!!
Serve a Variety of Easy to Make Appetizers and Finger Foods
I suggest having three or four finger foods, like this Baked Garlic Brie!
Lay out a few charcuterie boards for your guests, like our Greek Charcuterie Board inspired by all of the flavors of Greece.
Are there going to be vegetarians and vegans in attendance? Try our Pickle Charcuterie Board. It is filled with Pickled veggies of all sorts!
Then add in a few dessert options, like our Peanut Butter Cookie Bars or our amazing Christmas Caramel Bars.
If you have kids in getting antsy before dinner is ready, they will love munching on our amazing Fall Snack Mix!
Set a Festive Holiday Table
Your holiday table doesn't have to be an all-out extravagant affair. Use a pretty tablecloth, and skip the paper products and lay out your pretty china (if you have it).
Likewise with the serving wear and glass wear - real plates, silver wear and glasses are an easy way to fancy up your holiday party.
It might seem like a pain because they need washing, but think of it this way: you might need to load the dishwasher after the party, but you're saving valuable space in your city's landfills!
Buy Fresh Flowers For Your Holiday Table
Nothing says HOLIDAY PARTY like fresh flowers or a pretty fall-themed centerpiece. You can usually find a seasonally-themed bouquet at your grocery store for just a few dollars.
Pops or orange, brown and red automatically make a room seem more festive, and you'll have the bonus of enjoying them even after the party is over!
Light Seasonally Scented Candles
They make candles in almost any scent these days, and the fall scents are some of the prettiest-smelling, don't you think?
Your holiday party guests will automatically get in the mood when they walk in the door and breathe in the scents of the season!
If you follow these tips, you'll have a great holiday gathering with less hassle!
