Mouth Watering Holiday Cocktail Recipes from Crystal Head Vodka
I always say yes to vodka.
Especially vodka that comes in a super cool bottle, like this!
Crystal Head–40% ABV is smooth and light on the nose with hints of vanilla gently making its way around. A slight kick when it first hits the palate, but it mellows quickly into a smooth offering. A slight peppery kick atthe end, but a long mouth-watering sensation dominates it. A great vodka with a long flavor does well for the sipping drinker, but it also creates some fantastic cocktails!
About Crystal Head Vokda
Crystal Head Vodka, created by screen legend Dan Aykroyd, is a super-premium vodka made with water from a deep aquifer in Newfoundland, Canada, blended with selected grains create a creamy and slightly sweet finish. Crystal Head Vodka is a “pure spirit” with no added glycerin, citrus oil, or sugar. Crystal Head Vodka is quadruple distilled, then triple crystal-filtered through Herkimer diamonds, the final and most important step in production.
Herkimer diamonds are quartz formations, or crystals that are mined in Herkimer, New York. New age belief systems claim that Herkimer diamonds emit positive energy, an assertion that is validated by consumer tastings. Crystal Head Vodka was first introduced in California in September 2008.
Later that year, the brand entered Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Nevada. Today the company is available in some 20 market and expects to sell 23,000 cases in its first year.
Now, I am not one of those hardcore, LET'S DO SHOTS OF VODKA kinda chicks. I like a regular old mixed drink. Vodka and soda water with a lime squeezed in for good measure...or every once in a while, a vodka mojito, if the bartender knows how to make it...

But I am learning to expand my vodka-drinking horizons. I am trying recipes. Mixing. Doing stuff. This Crystal Tinkled Pink recipe from Crystal Head Vodka is a great place to start.

About Dan Aykroyd:
Dan Aykroyd is a renaissance man who is not only an accomplished actor, musician and writer; but also a successful businessman who has been involved with producing and distributing wine and spirits for the last seven years.
CHV is his latest venture and the one that he is most passionate about, because of his long time fascination with ghosts, spirits, and other un-worldly presences. In fact, it was his interest of the supernatural and the legend of the 13 Crystal Skulls that inspired his creation of Crystal Head Vodka.
The Crystal Head Bottle: The distinctive bottle was designed by world-renowned American artist John Alexander. Legend has it that the 13 Crystal Skulls are said to project enlightenment, positive energy, and mystical properties....so what better vessel to hold a “Pure Spirit."
