How to Make this Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Noodles Recipe
Ingredients needed to make this Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Noodles Recipe
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 lbs chicken breast
- 2 cans, 10.75 oz each, condensed cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces wide noodles, cooked
- 1 cup frozen peas
Directions for making this Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Noodles Recipe
Add carrots, celery, and onion to a slow cooker and mix well.
Add bay leaf and chicken on top of vegetables.
In a separate and small bowl, combine soup, water, thyme, salt and pepper and mix well.
Spoon over chicken and cover.
Heat on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. When cooking cycle is complete, shred chicken with two forks. Stir peas and noodles into mixture and serve.
