This is Valentine's Day Snack Mix Recipe is so, so good, and it's so easy to make that you can get the kids in on the action! You guys know I love making Muddy Buddies, but this brings it to a whole new level of crunch with the popcorn! Oh, and that little coating of white chocolate layered onto the popcorn? It adds a definite hint of sweetness to the mix, but it is not too much sweetness - so you don't have to worry about going into sugar overload or feeling too guilty after indulging.

I love Valentine's Day recipes, everything is so pretty and pink! It's such a strange holiday though, one that makes single people feel so lonely...that's why I highly recommend spending Valentine's Day with your friends if you're single! Since my divorce, I've spent Valentine's Day with Angeline or one of my best friends. It's impossible to feel lonely if you're in great company having a fun time!
How to Make This Valentine's Day Snack Mix Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10 cups popped popcorn
- 1 package, 11 oz, white chocolate chips
- 2 cups pretzel sticks
- 1 package, 11.4 oz, Valentine M&M candies
- Valentine sprinkles
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Place your popcorn into a large mixing bowl. Melting the chocolate is a fine art - you have to time it just right in order not to "burn" the chocolate. Melt the chocolate chips by placing them into a microwave safe bowl and microwaving for 60 seconds on 50% power. Stir them well. Then continue to microwave them in 20 second increments at 50% power and stir well until smooth. Once it's nice and melty, pour the chocolate over popcorn and mix well so that it's evenly coated.
Spread your mixture onto a prepared baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with valentine sprinkles while it's still "wet" so that they sprinkles stick to the chocolate. Let the mixture set to harden.
Once the popcorn mixture is set, gently break it apart and mix it together with the little pretzel sticks and M&M candies.
