For those of you who are in the cold weather states - or even if you just really love a nice, hearty stew in a sunny coastal town, this Slow Cooker Clam Chowder Recipe is going to totally knock your socks off!

    Slow Cooker Clam Chowder Recipe

As you can probably tell from my previous recipe posts, but I love making dinner with my slow cooker! Slow cooker recipes are just so dang easy, and over the years, I have come to rely upon a few tried and true slow cooker recipes. I absolutely love slow cookers and use mine for a TON of different recipes.

I began using them in the early stages of our marriage when we were both working full time, as it was such a struggle to have a homemade meal on the table every day after working all day.

Weeknight Slow Cooker Recipes make like so much easier – so much so, that even though I’ve worked from home for 8 years, I STILL use my slow cooker almost once a week.

There are some recipes that are just so easy to make in the slow cooker, it would be a shame to waste time cooking them on the stove!

    Slow Cooker Clam Chowder Directions:

Add all of the ingredients, except for the half and half and the cornstarch/water mixture, to a slow cooker. Mix it all up really well.

You are going to add the half and half and cornstarch/water mixture at the very end - it will be lumpy and yucky if you add it before cooking for 8 hours!
