Halloween has come and gone, and it's officially fall, guys! Now, before you start putting up your Christmas decorations, just take a moment and savor all that the fall season has to offer, will you? Take for instance...pumpkin spice, as you'll find front and center in this Pumpkin Patch Martini Recipe!
Even though we never see a changing of the colors, or a real winter, we do experience a bit of fall in Miami, and it begins with a nice cold front that sends us all searching for our boots and scarves.
To help us celebrate the fall season, our local The Craftsman Miami, located in Mary Brickell Village, has shared a few fall-inspired recipes to set the mood!
Pumpkin Patch Martini Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 oz Tequila Reposado
- 1 oz FOS
- 1 oz Pumpkin Puree
- .5 lemon juice
- Barspoon Maple Syrup
Directions
Shake all ingredients well and strain into a martini glass, then garnish with a toasted cinnamon stick.
For those who aren't really into the whole pumpkin flavor thing, I have an equally delicious - and very visually appealing - alcoholic cider. It's so pretty and so incredibly festive, it's perfect for intimate gatherings with your friends this holiday season!
Bright Apple Cider Recipe
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz FOS
- 1 oz Apple Cider
- .5 oz lemon
- Barspoon Honey
- Dash Allspice
- star anise, apples and cinnamon sticks for garnish
Directions
Shake all ingredients well, strain into a rocks glass and then garnish with sliced apples and cinnamon and star anise. I think the star anise really lends a pretty look to the glass, and also reminds me of the stars on top of Christmas trees!
