This guide to 5 Amazing Cruise Cocktails You Can Make at Home will allow you to relive the experience of your cruise from the safety of your own home!
The only thing I love more than sitting on the deck of a cruise ship, basking in the sunshine and listening to the waves is doing that exact same thing with a drink in my hand. There is just something about cruising that makes me want to drink frozen fruity drinks! With cruising season in full effect but very clearly not an option due to the COVID19 outbreak, I wanted to share some of my favorite cruising cocktails that I have enjoyed over the years...if you are a regular reader, then you know that I used to cruise ALL OF THE TIME! I have been on over 20 cruises to date, and I can't wait to get back out on these amazing cruise lines and travel again...and be spoiled with amazing frozen drinks by the pool! If you have tried any that I haven't listed, come back and tell me all about it!

5 Amazing Cruise Cocktails You Can Make at Home
The Caribbean Colada - this is one of my favorite frozen drinks that I get on Carnival Cruise Line!
Miami Vice Ingredients
- 2 oz Bacardi Superior Rum
- 3 oz Pineapple Juice
- ½ oz Coconut Cream
- 4 Dashes Aromatic Bitters
- 1 Pinch Salt
Directions: lend all ingredients together with crushed ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry. Serve with a straw.
The Miami Vice
The Miami Vice is MY drink. It's half pina colada and half strawberry daiquiri, and while I've never actually drank one IN MIAMI, I always order them on cruises and when in the Caribbean. The Miami Vice is also known as a PITA - a Pain in the Ass - because bartenders need to make two different drinks and then pour them together. It's twice the work for one drink...yeah, it is annoying, but it is just so damn good, I don't care! I just tip an extra buck.
The Bahama Mama
I first had a Bahama Mama in...you guessed it, the Bahamas! Now I order them all the time, wherever I go! The Bahama Mama is a favorite all over the Caribbean and in Miami too! You may also know it as a Rum Punch.
Bahama Mama Ingredients
½ oz lemon juice
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice
1 ½ oz rum
1 oz coconut rum
½ oz Heering® cherry liqueur
½ oz grenadine syrup
Shake ingredients with cracked ice. Serve in a 12 oz. glass. Garnish with a cherry and ½ slice orange in a tooth pick.
The Bellini
Oh, Bellini...this is a fantastic brunch drink, but also tastes great any time of day - or night!
To make simple blend equal parts peach purée and Prosecco! It's almost like a mimosa!
The Kiss on the Lips
Okay, I know that the Miami Vice was "my drink" whenever I cruised with Carnival Cruise Lines...but I've discovered a new love! It's called a Kiss on the Lips and it's so delicious that I want to kiss it on the lips for real. If only it had lips...
A Kiss on the Lips Ingredients
1 - 1 ½ oz peach schnapps
4 - 6 oz frozen mango mix
1 tbsp grenadine syrup
Directions
The mango mix should be blended with ice and then you add the schnapps. Pour the grenadine at the bottom of your glass and then add the schnapps and mango mix.
